#Unlink Steam

I know it's possible to unlink someone before they get banned, but is there any way to do it afterwards?
So your banned from the server by tx or like a legit ban from fivem
A friend of mine got banned and linked, and I got banned too.
Fivem ban or?
tx ban
Uhhh, the server may use steam identifiers - and probably banned you for "ban evasion" or something.
I'd suggest, talking to the server owners to see what they can do - but I highly believe that unlinking your steam account would resolve this issue.
Okay, but how do I unlink his Steam account from mine?
It's not the same computer; he and I play on the same server, and he had accessed my Steam account before I played there, and when he logged in, it linked.
Then your friend may need to do these steps, but I want to make 100% sure.
But its odd that it banned ALL steam accounts as I believe txAdmin only bans the steam identifier.
I could be wrong, and someone may correct me.
Then u can easily unban yourself assuming its your server
I know, but to do that I have to lift the ban on that player, and I just wanted to unlink them.
You’d have to have them lift the ban if you don’t own the server. Unlinking won’t do anything.
Make sure neither FiveM, nor Rockstar Games Launcher is running.
- Press Win + R, enter %localappdata%\DigitalEntitlements\ and click OK
- Back up all the files in there, leave them in a separate directory.
- Delete all the files inside of DigitalEntitlements.
- Run Grand Theft Auto V once through the relevant launcher you used to install the game with.
- Your FiveM client should now use your new identifiers, provided you actually have separate licenses.
You might also have to delete %appdata%\CitizenFX\ros_id.dat which is your Rockstar Social Club identifier.
Both of you will have to do this btw
He and I have already formatted the PC using a USB drive.
then you should be unlinked if you formatted the PC.
Who said anything about formatting?
But that didn't happen today; it's been a few months, and we're only now trying to resolve it.
Got that from a staff member even
ok
