"CURL error code 7/28" literally only means the game could not connect to the server.
This can be a thousand different things, but asking these questions might help you:
- Is the server running? Check the status in the txAdmin page.
- Are you the only player having this error?
- Is the fxserver port open? Default is 30120, type
!portsfor more info. - Is the
ip:portyou are trying to connect to correct? - Just try again... it might work.

When creating a FiveM server, there are 3 options available:
:one: The easiest way:
By choosing an authorized server provider you get a pre-configured, DDoS protected server, txAdmin server:
- https://shockbyte.com/partner/FIVEM
- https://zap-hosting.com/txAdmin
:two: VPS or Dedicated Server:
With a VPN or Dedicated server you have to the entire server operating system, and can run as many servers as your hardware supports. The most used providers are:
:three: Home hosting:
Running the server on your PC is NOT recommended due to performance, security, and ease of configuration reasons, but can be used while you are developing your server. If you need for it to be public, type !ports for info on how to open it to the internet.
