#Problem with txAdmin
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
When the server first starts up, do you go directly to the IP address and port it displays in the console for txAdmin
i didn’t even have it when I first turned on the server.
Ok no worries, when you start up your server just go to this link
http://localhost:40120/
Actually wait, are you home hosting?
yes sir
Yh then that link should work fine
vps with avoro, ports unblocked even added to command set txAdminPort 40120 and still nothing :/
you mean?
Are you going on this website http://localhost:40120/
On the same machine that the server is hosted on?
instead of localhost i type in the ip of my server (vps) and i can't even access this txadmin, even in the console i had no information about configuring it
:rocket: Congratulations @copper creek, you leveled up to <@&828359841512816671>!
but on the vps itself if you go on the localhost, does it work?
because it may be that you havent opened the port 40120 to have access to txAdmin outside your vps
i'm talking from the beginning, about vps on localhost as i did the server it worked normally txadmin but is it important?
im getting a little confused now 😅
are you asking if txAdmin is important?
txadmin does not work for me even though:
- port 40120 unlocked
- I added a line set txAdminPort 40120 to the putty
- even at the first start of the server I didn't have a link in the putty to configure it
- I re-downloaded afterfacts, and it also doesn't work
Please provide a FULL SCREENSHOT.
:warning: This means literally the entire screen, from corner to corner!
:warning: Do not erase, censor or crop anything out.
:warning: Include the URL at the top (if browser) and clock at the bottom.

I’ve been saying since the beginning that I’m having trouble installing it.
You shouldn't have to install txAdmin yourself
As it comes with the artifacts
I've also never seen this
ServerSync?
Yeah this server doesn't have txAdmin at all
What?
Why
-_-
Idk what kind of weird ass prebuilt package you bought/installed
But you should delete it and start over with a normal something
I know, but I'm working on it for now
Why?
well, that's what I'm doing for now, and then I'll switch to the new esx
Such a terrible approach
only problem is that I can't install this txadmin for some unknown reason
you have not said that since the beginning bro, and if you have, you have not explained it like that
This is a lost cause, he does not have monitor resource at all, and has some weird ass prebuilt server with a shit ton of very old code
I mean, essentialmode..
literally, he made this support saying he's having problems with txAdmin and the port or whatever
he never said anything about installing the damn thing lol
i can now see why you have the !full command
screenshots are so useful for this scenario where users cant explain what issues they're facing
or dont know what issues they're facing
That but I just looked the name of the server up and checked the resources via the server api
yh only managed to get the name and found out he doesnt even have the monitor resource by getting him to post a screenshot
Am I supposed to take off the monitor or what?

What?
i did reinstall the machines, i downloaded everything again and i still don't have txadmin how to fix it because something fucks me up?
If you download a new artifacts build then tx will come automatically
Download the latest recommended ig
maybe linux
i will reinstall vps, and i will see on this recommended afterfacts
i downloaded recommended afterfacts, and still the same xd
Linux is weird idk
Never used Linux before so I cannot help any further
No, it's never latest
What?
Telling people to use recommended is terrible
Dont do it
Do u wanna explain why or do u just wanna tell someone that without an explanation
Because i am doing the confusing for what you are saying
Sure
The latest recommended current version is from january this year
Missing a lot of quality and security updates
Cfx does not like updating it
But from what I was told, using the latest is likely most likely unstable
Depends really
Sometimes it is sometimes it isnt
