Just a bit of context:
I just finished my 3rd year, technically my 1st year in CS since I transferred from a CC with my AS in mathematics.
2 of my resume projects are group-projects the SluGather and Java Banking so Idk how much credit I can take for those.
I basically have a lot of keywords to get past ATS. I've been applying the last 2 weeks for any leftover summer internships but I dont think my chances are good this summer (too late?)
But my goal is to land a role before I graduate which is next may.
I'm very distributed as in I like a bit of everything, first I wanted to do gamedev, and I was learning Lua and making roblox games for a while, then I wanted to do Web Development so I learned to make some simple frontend stuff.
and then I have spent pretty much last year just alternating between my Java school projects and doing some Intro ML courses + a bit of kaggle. Does going into ML require you do a masters program? cuz thats what I see on linkedin a lot.
then I was grinding leetcode for a while (around 50 questions) then I decided that wasnt going to help me get interviews, only get through them.
I'm not really sure what roles to apply for as I wouldnt say Im particularly good or excellent at any of them. so I have been spamming applications wherever I see.
Would love some guidance or thoughts on this matter. ๐
