october 2023 - present experience might be a red flag for the recruiters? especially if they're recruiting for an internship
What quant companies are u being rejected from? Ng or internship?
If I was a recruiter, I would read your resume and think "ok awesome you did all these things, but so what?" You need to sell yourself by showing the impact of your work. You built some DGCP tool to debug and visualize, but what did this achieve? How does it help the team/company? You should revisit your bullet points and try to answer that question. It would be even better if you could add percentages or some measure of your impact too. You implemented a feature that enhanced router performance. Awesome, but idk if you improved it by 0.5% or 80%. You should look into the X Y Z method.
de shaw and aquatic for internships
bro ive been at amazon for 2 weeks
Bro red flag is you have an SDL pong game on your resume
That’s like a 100% beginner C++ project
You’d be better off with a bigger skills section imo
LMAO
Yeah ik my projects are bad
Other two are a lot better
But cmon like pong?
Just take it off it literally makes it look worse than not having it tbh
Ur experiences ar good
I agree
That’s probably why u still got Amazon lol
I’m gonna replace it with my TCP IP stack
Il tryna shoehorn C++
Or whatever the term is
Ty
Mb I’ll replace with my Java programming
I used to do FIRST Robotics Challenge stuff
That would be good!!
Networking is important for quant
