made some changes to project descriptions based on what ppl said, but other than that idk what to do
Personally I find your resume pretty impressive, I'm surprised you're not getting anything. The work experience is super solid, as well as the projects. Training on Iris isn't that impressive by itself but doing it with an FPGA is interesting. The problem is I doubt it ever gets looked at by a human. Do you think maybe you're applying too late for the positions you want? Or maybe your resume isn't ATS optimized?
Sorry you're having a hard time. A few years ago you'd probably be an instant hire 🫤
I mean tbh.... I have no idea
it could be that im applying too late
but like
for many of the stuff I apply to, I apply day of
and in terms of ATS optimized, I also dont know
because alot of those "resume graders" are giving me high scores for keywords
so
its unironically bc u have no crud @austere escarp
I'm not targetting typical swe roles though
im targetting AV (planning and perception), ML sys (cuda, ML platforms), ML research, and FPGA/ASIC design for ML
ok
did u apply to aurora
and stuff like that
probably reach out to recruiters instead of cold applying
proj descs seem a bit massive
i dont think anyone is looking that low down on the resume considering what u have in exp, maybe try and recall if u can fit more keywordage or general verbiage on exp, but thats like barely optimizing anything vs just reaching out

yeah admitadely, I need to reach out more
no
granted i applied late with idek if i got the referral
oh
same
didnt acknowledge my answer 💀
but idk if it did anything
its joever for zoox
lets research🤙
csail
i aint gettin into CSAIL
same
nothing from zoox lowkey kind of sucks
cuz
they're making moves now to get closer to IPO
also zoox -> waymo not uncommon at all
sadge
also probably grad date issue as well
i have 2025 on my real resume
