You should put your experience at the top **AFTER **Education
Even though it's not as relevant?
tbh, the first thing the recruiter does is see your experience
IDK, but I see that your experience something is related to being a research assistant which is good enough to put on the top
You didn’t do any co-op internships at loo?
I would remove relevant courses section
Doesn’t do much and your grades don’t look that good in them
Unfortunately no
Idk what else I’d put there
TBH man, this is not competitive whatsoever in this market
Like, if you graduated in 2021, you would've found something with this resume. I'm not trying to say that this resume is bad
But you're not gonna land anything with this resume... I'm just gonna keep it real with you homie
Especially coming from loo with no internships. This is arguably a bottom 5% resume at Loo
Once again, I'm not trying to come off as harsh or overly critical. I'm just trying to be as honest as I can.
I would honestly consider another field altogether... maybe consider going for a masters in CS, or take an IT helpdesk position, or consider Data Analysis.
I'm just trying to be as realistic as I can with this resume, but I do hope you find something bro.
I graduate in 2025, and I'm struggling alot rn to get a summer '24 internship with 7 previous internships... haven't had a single interview yet, and I'm about 100+ applicants in... so... yeah
The fuck? 7 prev internships
You gotta be an international or some shit, right? Right?
No my brother
Citizen
Dude, I am a citizen, straight tf up, and can't find nothing
I got you
I'm thinking of going to night school to satisfy a biology credit from high school, and then go into nursing
This market is actually a fucking nightmare... I'm being serious here but no one wants to listen to me. It's over. It's really over for the tech industry, and it's gonna end up like pharmacy / consulting / IB from the 80s
I've applied to 200+ positions so far, and I haven't received a single interview yet

Crodie, I talked to an old economics professor, and he said that from the looks of it, our generation is pretty much gonna be the equivalent to Japan's "Lost Generation"
I wonder how much the army officer corps pay if you grind?
i'd argue that it's a lot harder for international lmao
That’s why I was asking if he was international or not
Because no shot you have 7 internships as a citizen and can’t land shit

Drop resume
ah
bro, i am a citizen with 7 internships and cant land nothing
.
i am a citizen lol
i dm'd it to you
market is tough
i don't know how much more different the process for you guys up north is with co-op
but yeah shit's bad
it's impossible because our dear leader keep importing indians with 15+ years of experience, who aim for entry level software engineering roles
You’re in Canada
yes
whoops
does that count as intl
(i am the imported indian)
no... i'm only applying to places in canada
well, you're an international student, so it's not the same tbh... mf's with 15+ yoe apply to entry level jobs in this country, and there isn't the same scrutiny as the US, so all the locals gets fucked
yeah no definitely i am nowhere near that im just a student
hell im a sophomore
bro, canada is legit doomed... like, there is no way out for us
😭
like, the anti-immigrant sentiment in canada is SO MUCh now
like, 5 years ago, everyone didn't really care about indians, but they are SO HATED everywhere they go now... it's actually insane. some of my most liberal friends say the craziest shit about them
bro, it's really not. i'm telling you
too friendly in terms of immigration policy
and i do fear that there is going to be a massive backlash against indians, because you don't understand just how fed up most canadians actually are... like... we're one crisis away from a full on race riot
yeah, because our government is run by morons... i don't blame you, but alot of other people can't see through the bad policies
trust me, it's baaaad
good intentions but not so good execution
lmfaoooo
nah man, the intention was to supress wages this entire time, and grow out the tax base
please don't lol
LMAO
where do you live rn?
Canadians by far, along with Australians are some of the most racist people out there
Oh i've heard nightmares about australia
especially for intl graduate students
/phd
its really bad
Trust me. I've been to Arkansas, and the people have been nothing but kind to me. Come over to Rural Ontario, and you'll see Confederate flags lined up everywhere
damn
As a matter of fact, the Nazis implemented the final solution based on the Canadian genocide of Native Americans
what 😭
Also, Canada had the largest share of Nazi Party members outside Germany... let that shit sink in for a moment
look it up yourself
