- put gpa on its own line
- (imo, this is subjective so take it or leave it) separate professional experience from extracurricular/volunteer positions
- try to do and add another project
why GPA on own line?
ATS?
yeah that and itll fill up the whitespace a bit @arctic cedar
thats a small point though it works either way
isnt it better to compact eveyrthing as much as possible or am I missing some other reasoning for it
I am working on one or two peojects currently which I'll get added to fill that white space
I definitely agree but I dont currently have professional experience such as internships, etc
so it feels kinda awkward listing everything as volunteer/club exp
also will be attending a hackathon tmrw as well which Im super stoked abt
which one?
DragonHacks in drexel
niceee
what are some good ones you been to?
i went to this one last year in miami hosted by FIU that was lowkey lit af
shii id love to fly to miami one day
don't compact things if it adds whitespace
theres no benefit to that
you compact things if you need to in order to fit more, but if you dont have more to fit then no point
I remember someone telling me not to put C/C++, I didn't agree with it at the time, but now I do. Put them separately.
they're very different
yeah, at least 1-2 more projects, also unindent the bullet points under each experience? so you can fit more lines in
someone told me the bullet point advice too and I agree with it.
yeah if you put C/C++ that indicates that you don't actually have a good grasp of either
