so I discovered this awhile ago but didn't report it because i thought it would be fixed later without me needed to. I was wrong, but anyways i tried to complete the broodwatcher questline as a bio dragon, thats the dragon i started out with. When i found out that I couldn't go any further as a bio dragon, I safelogged to the spawn menu and tried to complete it with a different one, but that didn't work either. Tried a bunch of different things to get it to reset but nothing worked.

best to do the quest with a fs or ir. they have a high poison tolerance. it was determined earlier when Brood appeared that bio was not able to do the quest as they can't eat mushrooms
I know that now but the thing is I can’t continue the quest
I switched dragons, because when I started as a bio. When I figured out I needed to use a different dragon, I couldn’t continue the quest.
might be something worth discussing with one of the admins next time they are on shift
Admins have no control over bugs. They were right to post this here. I have also experienced this bug on my alt account!
oh thank god I'm not the only one who experienced this, it def means this is a error that needs to be fixed
To clarify, you've tried the reset button at the bottom of the quest page, and if that didnt work, did you try deleting your local save file?
yeah i have
i tried the reset button and it was opaque and faded
nothing happened when i clicked on it. I haven't tried deleting my local save file though largelry because i don't wanna lose my things
Dragons, completed unlocks and inventory (pearls) are saved to the server, so you wont be losing those.
Your local save file contains your graphics and keybinds settings, as well as your in progress quests.
Deleting it means you'll have to put your settings back where you like them, but other then that you wont be losing anything.
how do i do that?
If you right-click the game in your steam library, select "view local files"
In the file browser that pops up there should be a file that says something like "saved" or "save file" or "local save", delete that file and launch the game after.
I'm not seeing anything that says saved file or anything of the type
what now?
Sorry about the long response
you'll need to open the "Dragons" folder, and then delete the "saved" folder in there
Are you sure that’s where it’s supposed to be
Those are my own screenshots, taken a few minutes before posting that. The only other place I can find someone discussing the saved files not generating is here: #1393042872240177202 message
You may have to open a #1115045077870444574 thread and ping the support team for that one.
so i wasn't able to find the saved files folder, but regardless this is a bug that still needs to be fixed
Can you confirm whether or not it will be fixed or ???
The devs have made statements in the past that they do not intend to leave any bugs in the game. So yes, its been reported, it will be looked into and adressed.
