I accidentally joined Molten Mountain and it worked so I think it is just a Sanctuary problem

Yeah I’ve attempted to join sanctuary multiple times and was led to the same issue, I think it’s a bug with the recent update?

ok so just looked in general chat and I've read that some people managed to fix it by restarting the pc or verifying the game files

Immediately following a update restart the most popular servers usually have 100+ players attempting to join the server at the same time. There are available slots in the server at that time, however the server has a limited number of ports to connect you to a slot.

If all ports are in use at the same time (such as during the post update crush) then you will be bounced off of the server until a player finishes joining and another port opens up.

The solutions are keep clicking and get lucky, or wait for the crush to die down. There is not likely to be anything wrong with your game or PC, just that there is not currently an error message when attempting to join a server with no available ports. You can check by attempting to join a server not being affected by the crush (most any server that is not MM or Sanc)
