#Textures not loading in

A lot of the time with that specific bug, a person has a good enough pc that it exceeds minimum, but isnt good enough to run maximum. And beawesome settings are intentionally higher then what a good few best-in-the-market PCs can handle, as "future proofing" against a few years down the line when base PCs have much better capabilities.
So theres very good odds you may have at some point set your graphics higher then what your pc could handle.
Usually what happens with that specific bug, is someone sets their graphics higher then the pc can handle, the pc cant hit it, and instead of dropping your frames to 0 and doing an impression of a jet engine taking off, it bugs, and then it gets stuck like that, so it looks like changing the graphics isnt doing anything.
So just to make sure its not that, im going to ask you to do something in a very specific order.
Drop all your settings to low (for now) and your lighting to potato.
Keeping your settings like that, close the game and reopen it.
If textures come back, you can move your graphics up in stages until you hit the settings where it bugs out again, and set your graphics to just below that (mind you, sunset/sunrise are much more intensive, as is being around lots of other players, so it may take a few step downs if it comes back a few times)
If textures dont come back we'll definately want your specs, and it'll be up to the full tech heads to figure out the issue.
same problem here, but it somehow is completely normal on the greybox server, everywhere else they wont load in
Graybox is significantly less intensive for your PC to run, because it is smaller, and has much less objects (plants and rocks) on it.
So with that we can confirm your PC in particular is getting asked to load too much detail on the FF map and is bugging out.
Have you tried turning your graphics settings down (and lighting to potato) and turning the game off and back on while the settings are turned down.
Sorry for late reply, but It worked! Thank you so much. :]
Glad to hear it!
@dapper marsh By blurry, do you mean it looks like this? Try these fixes and see if it'll work for you 🙂
Yes just like that I’ll try it
If it doesn't work we can try to troubleshoot further - the next thing to try would be to go to the steam store page and verify that your computer hardware specs meet the minimum required for the game. But my hunch is that you probably meet minimum if it's not crashing on you
@slim lava like this? Try the fixes in this thread and see if it helps
Can have your settings set to this and then restart your game
@dawn pollen
I have tried this and it helped Thank you^^
Glad to hear it!
@heady kestrel blurry like this?
After I ate something my screen started getting blurry, idk if that’s part of the game
Yup! Thats poison, hold shift and r to go to sleep, and it will go away
Okay thx u
How do i verify from steam? That's something i really wanna know cause my laptop has a 3050 and runs the game perfectly on all potatoe graphics
-# The laptop is as of now either 4 or 2 years old
-# Correction: 3yrs old
Do you want to verify game files or check that you meet the minimum hardware requirements?
Basically yeah.
But ill have to do that later cause i just got off my PC
@broken tiger my sister tried the picture and even a video nothing worked 😭
Okay.
If youve turned down the graphics and restarted the game with the graphics turned down, and that didnt fix it, there's a few other things we can try.
Im going to have you look for some of the PC's specs. You'll need to open Task Manager (press and hold the Ctrl and Alt and Delete buttons, and then release them at the same time, itll be an option in the menu that pops up)
Click on the second tab, performance, and we're going to look for two things.
In Drives, we're going to want to see if theres more then one drive (they'll have names like C: and D:) and if they're SSDs or HDDs.
And then you'll want to look in GPU, and get the name for the type of graphics card she has (it'll probably be in the upper right corner, but if youre uncertain you can send a screenshot of Task Manager [just be careful to not share personal info in the background])
Do I tell you the graphics card?
Yeah, we'll need an idea of how strong it is
Okay it's NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
Note that I have almost everything the same as her same computer and even had same settings and this is only happening to her idk why
Ive known a few 3050s on laptops that struggle, if youve got the exact same device, there's good chances it might be the drivers
There's instructions for updating Nvidea GPU drivers here: #1115053704291295372 message
Id suggest making sure hers are up to date
Hi so I checked everything and it looks good and ready but then I tried the last thing I found and. This happened.
If that download is part of the process from the official NVIDEA website, click the See More button and see if it will let you do it anyway
That check was flagged because of the file type (a .ini file) can change how your computer runs. Its a driver update, we want to change how the computer runs.
So long as you trust the source, that flag should be bypassable
The see more is to show other old downloads
Oh she manages to download it
Hi so we tried everything you said and it still looks the same but ty for your help and patience :[
