I just don't get why the skins look like potato with this update. it was fine before, I could still see the details for skins and now it's just mashed potato. Something was right and it's broken now. I have great experience with PC parts. it's not a hardware issue. not at all. some people have really high GPU's and still have potato graphics. I'm hoping to see a fix for this in the upcoming patch

For me this only happens if I'm running multiple large programs at once, aka if I have wow open and then open DOD it does this.

Back before this update and I was running multiple on sandboxie generally the last I opened would look like that.

I believe, I could be wrong, but I think it opens like this if your computer is struggling to allocate the resources to it. If it's not installed on an ssd drive try that

It's not a hardware issue. As I mentioned in my post If it was something related to the performance or my PC struggling I wouldn't post here.
The game became extremely heavier. Everytime there is an update a whole generation of hardware loses the ability to even launch the game. At this rate by the time we get a couple more updates the only people who are gonna be able to play are the ones who have something like

i7-10
4060 Ti
32 GB ram
and probably would cause a lot of heating issues. At some point even high end builds won't be able to launch the game

It's a known bug; they're working on a fix: #development-news message

Unfortunately, anytime you modify a program, there's a chance it could break an existing feature. That chance increases as the program gets more complicated, and most video games are VERY complicated. If none of the NDA testers or PT/KS closed testers happen to have the right combo of hardware and settings to trigger the bug, then the bug isn't found until live. Hopefully it will be patched soon...
