Spider dragon?🕷

I was just thinking and I thought some kind of dragon with a web spinning ability would be so cool, like an ambush attack kind of dragon. I think it'd be really cool(but also obviously really hard) if their was some kinda web mechanic and you could like jump between trees with webs coming out of you and make like a web between trees, maybe they could trap little dragons like bios, or you could have something like a trapdoor spider and hide underground, but anyways I was just thinking about this and wanted to get it out lol if anyone has feedback or thinks this idea is cool I'd love to hear

I would loathe this for personal reasons and it would make me completely unable to play the game aside from private servers, not due to arachnophobia but due to the web mechanics.

So, selfishly will not support this, and frankly I think it might be rather unsettling for a lot of people

I would say the webbing mechanic is good, just avoiding the spider part of it would be best

yeah mb I didn't mean like an actual spider looking dragon, that'd probably be hell to animate, I just meant inspired with like webs and stuff

would be incredibly offputting aesthetic to me personally and probably to a lot of people, and it doesn't fit with the elemental themes of the dragons anyways. would prefer any other ambush mechanic than webs tbh.....

yea I understand, tbh I just saw a video of some game making a spider web and I thought it would be a cool concept but idk if this is the game for that

I think I might be, I legit just saw an insta reel about it, I didn't really like the web making mechanic but it gave me the idea

Chances of a spider web dragon I think would be pretty low... due to some people having severe arachnophobia. However, I could possible see a small stinger bee or wasp looking dragon. May even be able to make honey like substances that can heal? Maybe as small as the Micro. Lol the Micro Melli-Aculeus. The small honey stinger. 😂

why not? a wide variety of dragons is good anyway, we have turtle dragons planed, and this idea is probably the most unique one to date.

maybe they could set traps and anytime a dragon is in their web they are heavily slowed and have to claw their way out, while the web dragon gets a notification that they caught something in their web if they are nearby.

actually the more I think about it the cooler it sounds
