also, I got those two within five minutes of each other so if there is a cooldown it's a very short one

there have been countless times where 2 colors have been found at the same time(even the same color in 2 different locations), so i dont think theres a cooldown on the colors moving/spawning

I found a green on the white mountain idk what time but it was during the day and clear skies and it activated. I went from 12.5%-16.7% on my ASD

You have to aim at the white part of the geodes and aim and 1 call. From what I found out certain geodes only activate during a certain time of day and also with certain dragons. Greens can be activated by any dragon I believe.

Yeah if you don't like the color it is, but have a dragon that can make the white part glow, yell at it once and then wait. It'll dim back to normal and change the crystal color

More then likely, we get a good few people not quite close enough at that specific crystal, and early blitz is our most documented pattern.

We have a good ~half dozen cases where a person can be close enough to get the crystal to pop, but not close enough to get the tick.

What we know, is that Each dragon has 1 color that works when the in-game menu says the time is Night.
(It seems to fully ignore anything other then bile type, but we have limited proof of that)

The Night Pattern is
ASD- Green
BS-Magenta
SS-Blue
IR-Red
FS-Red

From any time between dawn and dusk, the crystals follow a Day Pattern, (which we presume to be based on Danger Class, but are waiting on more FS/IR data to be certain)
The Daylight Pattern is dependant on Elder Growth %

For SS and BS the color progression goes

Green>Cyan>Blue>Magenta>Red>Yellow

We are still narrowing down the exact % ranges.

Any Dragon that can activate a crystal can change its color. Have a dragon that can make the white part glow, yell at it once and then wait. It'll dim back to normal and change the crystal color

A green activation would be shared by dragons that can activate green and cyan crystals, but not blue-activating dragons.

We have gotten cross-species shares during Day Cycle.

We have been having significant issue getting reliable ticks from the crystals protruding sideways from walls however.

Aim at the central white area of a crystal that is currently glowing one of the 7 colors, then broadcast while aiming. If the center lights up, it's working. Usually takes 9-10 calls for it to pop.

If you stop partway, it'll reset and change colors.

Okay ❤️ so there's 2 patterns, a Day Pattern and a Night Pattern, Night Pattern is always going to be the same color that works for your dragon, for SS that's Blue.
Day Pattern works based on eldering %, you reach a certain growth % and one color will stop working, and be replaced with another working color.
The order for SSs goes Green>Cyan>Blue>Magenta>Red>Yellow.
Day Blues are somewhere between mid-30s and low 40s % growth for SS

Here's what an inactive Geode looks like in a certain shading. it may look white (but in this photo there was no hum but makes the geode look white due to lighting) what you have is actually white 100%

Red will work at night for FS and IR,
56% SS should look for Magenta during the day, and 35% SS should look for Blues during the day.
SSs at night should look for Blues.

We don't have a complete idea of what colors FS and IR need at each growth % during the day yet, so if you get any to work for those, please report back ❤️

Pretty sure you need to be hunting reds, yellows, or greens to get a shared yellow tick (we still need more testing)

Once that SS hits 60%, and the Day Magentas stop working, it'll start hunting Daytime Reds. The Bio yellows might work for it then.
