Just curious. I remember my first dragon on 1.0, an Inferno Ravager, I grew to adult (without logging) and a little bit after reaching full adult, I started flying or something (not my first flight) and got the "You're getting stronger..." message. Only was a bit of % though, don't remember how much but not over 1%. Didn't think anything of it till I started reading the pinned doc. I've grown several dragons now and haven't had the same thing happen that I've noticed 🤷🏻‍♂️ Just kinda weird.

On our server, we're currently working on all species, but we're not there yet, so we can't test the theory at the moment.

Yes, but passive ticks have always been decoupled. It takes time to passively elder, which makes sense. But if it can be actively grinded, that's rather unique. Therefore, perhaps there's a stat cap similar to a level cap in other games.

We all dumped our sanity out of the window even on legacy, 1 hour timer on each mushroom was already hard, plus people who were going to snatch it two seconds before you, or those who were willing to fight to death for it

I feel like even tho we had plenty of elders, it was still a challenge that caused discomfort in those who were going through the process

Changing the mechanic to make it hard but not frustrating would be great, and I hope they did it

I found a jedi guide. All I could find that would work in DoD is that at first you need to become "glowy" then obtain five easy location badges, two difficult location badges and three jedi location badges.
Maybe we need bio spit on us to get that 15 min glow, then use that time to reach a specific location?

As it got closer they changed things around they took the mega map out and they redid forgotten forest . Heres the info regarding pearls

Modifier pearls enhance 1-2 stats, depending on the pearl quality. Quality levels are Lesser, Greater, and Ancient. Lesser pearls are the most common and grant a single stat buff of 1-3% and use 1 space, Greater pearls are uncommon and grant a single stat buff of 3-7% and take up 2 spaces, and finally Ancient pearls are rare and grant two stat buffs, a lesser buff and a greater buff and take up 3 spaces. With ancient pearls, if both buffs on the pearl enhance the same modifier, it is possible to enhance a single stat by a maximum of 10%, otherwise, it will enhance two stats, one by up to 7% and the other by up to 3%.

How many pearls you can carry is determined by your creature class level. A Flame Stalker is Class 5, so has a total of 5 spaces for pearls, plus the equipped space which can hold up to an Ancient pearl. The Zygovo, however, is a Class 1, so can only hold a lesser pearl and can only equip lesser pearls. The Biolumin is a Class 2, it can carry two lesser pearls, or one greater pearl, and it can equip up to a greater pearl, but not an ancient, as Ancient Pearls require a class 3 or higher dragon. The Acid Spitter, being Class 3, can equip the ancient pearl, and has room for a single Ancient pearl to swap out, or three lesser pearls, or one lesser and one greater. Alpha dragons get one extra slot, so an Alpha Acid Spitter (full grown Elder) can equip an Ancient pearl + carry an ancient pearl + carry a lesser pearl.

This is what I meant by a rock formation maybe looking like a ladder... allow me to elaborate... using the enviroment as guiding clues. In the original Spyro game there was a crystallized dragon you had to free, on a ledge always seemingly out of reach even with the gliding mechanic... at least directly... here's how you got to it. A secret path via, around that Cliffside there was a rock formation that actually formed up into a slope ledge. When you glided off that slope and AROUND the Cliffside, you were able to find the hidden path that lead to the crystal dragon.

THAT is how you hide a secret in plain sight. Your players can figure it out and they even have a hint and can be completed using in game mechanics.

With this in mind... has anyone noticed any unique formations in the environment that might... lead to something??

Realistically that is a change in the environment. The passage of time. What could have been ther before... little details like that can really tell a story... if we just looked. You can see all of the changes like the craters that opened up, and swamp got larger 4 ponds changed into swamp snowy got smaller while the second snowy gre to become snowy, lone tree fell, and paradise became big tree

While the lake did dry up quite a bit and the island got larger, could be due to the fall of the elementals

I've been busy working my job these last few days because of a crappy back to back schedule.
