Reallow chat when Sleeping

Hello! A lot of people like to be able to chat / say goodbye while waiting for the safe log countdown. Not being able to now, while making sense physically, is annoying gameplay wise.

Please reconsider adding this, thanks! :)

I agree. I'd still like to be able to chat with people while I'm either trying to recover stamina decay or safelogging. Its super annoying when you must wake up to say what you need to say and then go right back to sleep

I can understand why it would be a thing for PvP but for the PvE servers, its just straight up annoying.

Yes please this! I get why they did it flavorfully, but there is such thing as too much flavor or realism lol. I definitely like to be able to say bye to friends before logging off

Its most annoying when I forget that you can't message while sleeping after you've already typed out a super long message and tried to send it only for it to delete all you've typed and tell you you cant

+1 yes it’s annoying to not be able to safe log and chat with clan mates before leaving or switching dragons

You can chat while sleeping in every chat EXCEPT global. Local chat, group chat, clan chat and admin chat still work while sleeping. But bringing back global sleep chat would be great.

Ive tried that before. It worked sometimes but then other times it wouldn't let me at all

Sometimes I have to go but people say something I want to reply to, so I have to wake up, send message and start over with the safelog, please reallow chat when sleeping

basically just my point is that its a big problem not being able to send rp lines while sleeping because of how useful sleeping is in rp lol

I was under the impression it was better for realism in rp, but I didn't realize sleeping was used in different ways in rp 🤔 so in reality, this "feature" is no good for anyone

I really hope the devs see this then and listen to the feedback by reverting it

Yep sleeping pose is used for a lot of things in RP. Nightmare, severe injury and unable to get up or move, unconsciousness, etc. since we don’t have refined poses we can use, it’s used as a stand-in for a lot of things.

I can see their logic in disabling it during sleep, better for realism and plus your dragon makes sounds whenever you send a message and you shouldnt be making noise if youre sleeping. However, I think this would be easily solved if they just added some "sleep talking" sounds for each of the dragons. I think sleep talking would sound really cute, especially for hatchies and it would solve everyones problems.

So if you played pvp on legacy people would pull out of big clan fights be hella toxic about things (like the fight) and when you get close to them since they're talking they would go to spawn then come back sometimes and do the same thing all over again. This is why I said like only clan/group I've seen people tell others to unalive themselves and other horrible things just to log out and not take the L.

Honestly I think not being able to chat while sleeping is fine as long as the chat is locked while sleeping. As in, won’t let me type at all. Bc I forget I’m sleeping all the time and go to type then realize I’m sleeping when it doesn’t send

I find it annoying too that can't chat while sleeping...I mean if the reason it was disabled was pvp reasons & no chat sound have in sleep chat sound be a loud snort/snore...that's better than no chat

It was only brought up by someone with the suggestion to not delete the message if you try to send it while sleeping. Not reverting this change altogether. I'm not quite sure he got all the right feedback

at least let us talk while sleeping on roleplay and PVE servers, or just servers in general where we can't attack other dragons

even rp-pvp, we could make it so that if you have pvp enabled you can't talk while sleeping but if pvp is disabled then you can
