#Something for legacy players?

We all know that 1.0 is coming very fast. Many new players will come to 1.0 ! Like Kickstarters have their shimmer and more stuff ,why legacy players can’t have anything?
Some of us were playing 2 years waiting for update. I think that legacy players could be given:
-skin
Or
-skin effect
Or
-effect

There's a preorder bonus everyone gets, the white elemental skin, it's just not released yet since the elementals aren't in

If we keep addig exclusive stuff to the game nothing Will be exclusive, at this point why shouldn't they give a skin just because someone enters the game? The white elemental is a skin they Will get eventualy, if stuff went according to plan IT would have been now
Instead of creating more exclusive content latecommers Will cry about missing they should improve the quality of the basegame skins to match the exclusives, so people don't feel cheated out just because they can't have "that one specific skin from 5 years ago"

I'm not mad because i'm a kickatarter, if you weren't around back then i'll let you know that I was the first to suggest milestone rewards being unlockable to everyone, and i'm still amongs those who think this elitism towards "exclusive" rewards is bad and shouldn't be enforced. Just search up my name here to see how many suggestions aimed towards "regular' players I made, so don't assume stuff from one message only.
I dislike the idea because this would just be another Way of elitism and if it's not stopped then the community Will tear itself apart. They did offer a preorder bonus already, it's just the result of their..."accident" that it's not released yet.
A healthy game doesn't need to give out special prizes to keep players playing, or provide raffled out keys to it's players for testing, a healthy community doesn't gatekeep it's exclusive content to the point of deleting messages if it's sent ín the wrong channel or killing dragons for leaving the clan with a rare skin...ín Other kickatarter games I support we voted away our exclusive access to info through patreon ín favor of public announcements, that's how a community works
This game isn't out yet, and no matter the designation of 1.0 ín the patch notes IT won't be out and finished for a long Time from now on, where would you draw the Line between legacy and non legacy players? That's why ín my opinion instead of focusing on more exclusive content being made what later coming players Will cry about missing how people now cry about kickatarter, they should fix the game to be actualy engaging without needing the "shiny stuff" to make us forget how bland IT is, provide skins equal ín quality to the exclusives, just different, because I know currently the ks/pt/cc skins look the Best and I hate it

Also what would giving out a legacy skin achieve when everyone is a legacy player? IT would just be another New skin everyone have access to. With the rate of New players joining (and staying) IT Will be rarer to find a player who doesn't own IT, and what about them? Why should they be left out of the skin just because they came "late"? Should they get another latecomer skin? And what about players after them? Why can't they have their special skin? Do you see the problem with this? Exclusives need to end

I blame IT on writte words not conveying tone properly, because i'm not mad, I never was, IT needs more that a silly game to get me mad and that wouldn't look like this XD

But i'm disappointed...In both the game I loved and cared about digging it's own grave with worse and worse decisions, and It's community not noticing it...if you want your legacy skin i'm not stopping you, if you didn't notice I did not downvote IT, just provided my feedback, but don't be surprised if people coming after 1.0 Will cry about wanting that skin and them raffling IT out like everything else "not accessible anymore", because that Will happen

My opinion wouldn't be any different if I weren't a kickatarter, it's just my opinion ín general, because I try to keep the health of the game ín sight.
And i'm tired...tired of the feud between name colors, I was so ready to share the skins and the bio I bought when 1.0 come, I wanted to go on servers where i'm needed to nest people who want them, but with this animocity just because my name is ín a different color, eventho I always supported the fairness towards everyone, not Just the special few, I lost motivation.... i'll just keep to the small server I found home on and watch the show from afar

I’m not reading all that, but as somebody who’s really enjoyed exclusives in other games like league, I’m entirely sick of exclusive aesthetics and think they ultimately deter players away. The bio being exclusive is even worse, but desperate times when needing a budget

legacy players get free access to ALL skins and dragons (even ASD) including exclusive KS skins and shimmers and pearls.

if you are after something like getting a free item for just getting the game while in early access then that's reaching pretty far.
all the rewards that KS and PT received were thankyous for supporting the development of the game with their own money during limited campaigns or through patreon subscribtions.
those players ALSO bought the game AND have been playing for a long time as well

That was my whole point, Awulf, exclusive aesthetics can work if there are equally valuable ingame ones, like As you mentioned ín league, they have once ín a lifetime exclusives but people don't go crazy because they missed IT, because there are plenty of alternatives, and they actualy accept if they Miss out on something...I missed a lot of events/kickatarters/giveaways I wish I wouldn't, but i'm not demaning them to redo IT just so I can participate either, the fact that I was at the good Time at the good place to be part of DoD's kickatarter is more luck Than anything
And As for Lucky, there already is a reward for purchasing the game ín early access, the white elemental skin, which Will be rarer Than any dragon skins since As far As I know elementals can't nest

I dont see a reason to give people who played legacy something like a skin/effect. Im not sure how the light elemental skin is given, I know it was a pre order bonus in the beginning. And legacy was the game for a decent amount of time. Its like saying "People who are here for 1.0 launch should get an exclusive skin/effect". You can pretty much make any scenario a "This should give something exlusive". Also KS who backed have been here for years, and some of us only got the mela skin, which is unlockable. So being a KS has nothing to do with this view.
Now just adding a cool new skin for everyone, like the Mythical bio skin is a nice idea.

I’m a bit of a collector in league, and when I miss something for one of the champs I love it does make me not want to continue to collect their crap. It’s a toxic business model. I understand it for ks to increase player base from none, I just don’t want exclusives in the future to be locked behind $, or even “I was here” exclusives. When they allow nesting the exclusives it negates some of that toxicity

I can understand the collectivist mindset, I have IT too, goota catch them all haha but I also understand that i can't have everything just because I want it...I Will be forever sad that I missed archon thanatos ín the smite odyssey, but i'm not gonna flood their forums demanding a rerun...there Will be New, better stuff in the future and that thing we were obsessed with Will look stupid compared to IT...life is too short to cry about stuff you missed, instead enjoy what you have (which is ín dod's case not much, I admit and wholehearthedly hate that it's the case)

Ive had plenty of people misinterpret what Im saying because I didnt put enough detail in. So I guess I have the nerve to make sure nothing I say is misunderstood haha

I'm also of the opinion that exclusives hurt the community. But there are a lot of nice players willing to join other servers to help nest the exclusives. As a night owl, as are much of the group I play with, we miss out on 95% of giveaways and other announcements and streams because of work. However, I also see the devs point here, wanting to reward their original backers. There are many communities, popular ones, that do much of the same in the form of pre-order bonuses. It is roughly the same concept.

If it's an "exclusive skin" that anyone can get for dragons, we have the sandslayer and snowslayer skins coming that are unlockable for anyone. On top of that, if you really want a supporter effect and skin, you can just sub to patreon which is available all the time. I agree the skins need some Jesus (all of them), but there options

Sorry for all the words, I am trying to help your suggestion! Nothing said is negative! Last section has most of the feedback, I just rant!

I am a smooth brain and never considered KS rewards would be exclusive, Just thought 'yes i like those things' and backed for them lol. Please don't takr that into account with what I say, as I am in breeding discords for Bio and unlocks and whatnot.

I don't plan on using Elemental so if you are looking for exclusives I can definitely understand if the Elemental skin isn't an exclusive skin you'd want. Personally I don't care if things are exclusive to me, If I get something it is because I wanted them, Not to be the only one with them, So I don't have a strong opinion on exclusive content.

I know most exclusive skins (Except Content creator and still available skins like crimson and gold) are fairly basic, so this would probably be the same. If you had an exclusive skin, what would you want exactly? A forest green or a deep blue? If it was a skin effect, what would it be? A mossy coating on a skin or a different eye colour for your dragon? If it is an effect, would you want fireflies or maybe a snore image when you lay down? An idea of what you may want might help the suggestion!

I like IT in general, it's just IT what IT can't handle (English isn't my native language and IT always tries to correct stuff in that one)
