Then go to betas
You should be able to hit the drop down and find low spec

Just wanted to put out my journey with this issue!

• Started with the dx12 error, eventually cleared with a combination of updating Nvidia driver and Windows (10). Also had to instruct through the Nvidia control panel to only use its GPU as priority. It's still fussy about doing that, but more consistent now.

• Occasionally, the other error where it couldn't launch the game would crop up (the not dx12 related one). I feel this might be a pathfinding issue? As the game will launch if I manually open the application within the DoD files without a problem, thus how this problem was cleared

• Switched to the new Lowspec version. Moved the game onto an external SSD drive, because I got tight space issues rn. Reached the point where I can launch, lower all graphics, and find servers. Get stuck on the frozen skybox and occasionally the loaded foliage before getting booted for timing out. My RAM would nearly max out and start piling into my D: drive (HDD) for extra Virtual Memory. Since instructing my laptop to only use what remains of my C: drive space (SSD) for Virtual memory (which is around 26gb, which is why DoD isn't on that itself rn) there was one point where I succeeded in getting into an official server! Only once though, after multiple tries

• Once through the select menu and actually playing, everything ran perfectly fine! Not a hiccup in sight, and I even bumped a couple settings up to medium to test it.

So, with all that, I'm wondering if we just had a little more time to load in before getting timed out (which is currently 5 minutes of inactivity?) some of us at this stage may be able to play?

We haven’t been given an exact reazon but thatz no reazon not to hope it may be to fix some of the crazhing the thouzandz of playerz are facing rn

I downloaded the low spec in betas, then it told me I needed to upgrade or update my driver so I went on the nvidia website and downloaded the driver for what I have. I have a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and once I downloaded the game ready driver I was able to get on after I did the auto graphics settings thing and joined a low ping server

So... i reseted my windows today 'cause it made some problems... reinstalled all the updates... and then just thought, lets just try the game again, the devs always said, it could be a windows-problem...
reinstalled it, !did not! put it on lowspec again aaaand... it worked... no dx12 error... found a server and i can play...
Don't know if it works for others, but who knows 😉

'Directx 12 is not supported on your system . Try running without the -dx12 or -dx3d12 command in line argument

i think preformance for all players will improve in the next patch.but people who are having issues with DX12 is not the games problem.

Try going on the low spec, put all the graphics one low, and make sure you have everything you needed updated, for me all I need to do was update my nivada and it worked. So try that

might of found the problem with the game itself i was on my own server just letting it sit on a dragon just afked for 4 hours and the game crashed with the dx12 error so it might be memory leak
