I'd love to see flying ai but that has been mentioned already in another thread. But I had the idea of there being something that would be the equivalent of Pookie, but that it roams the skies instead.
Like a rare 'boss' flying AI that would be the sky equivelant of Pookie. So even if there are no players around, it still is never perfectly safe to fly around. I could totally see there being a super rare, mysterious world boss type dragon or creature that you'd find in the clouds or something and ofc killing it would give some sort of cool reward. Just something so there's always that little fear of 'I'm not the Apex, even in the sky' ^^. I feel like a biiig eastern type dragon, hiding in the clouds and still being very rare to come across would add so much. Imagine there being a clan war up in the clouds/sky, and all of a sudden you would just see a big shadow above you, and then the world boss AI comes out and suddenly everyone has to fight it, instead of each other. Would be so cool! Even better would be if it didn't have a specific spawn point, but really just something that you could come across at any point, if you were unfortunate enough to find it. And ofc, once it would be defeated, I feel like there should be a timer before it would respawn again. Maybe it would have a bigger chance of spawning/appearing during storms or when there would be a lot of clouds. Just a big, scary mysterious entity to remind you that even if you are a perfectly statted Flamestalker, that you still aren't safe in the skies.
Just would be so cool to never really be fully safe, so even on PVE there's that danger level. I feel like in every game where there is flying, it just becomes too boring and safe to fly around and avoid all the danger, unless there's another player around. There's not been a game that I've seen that has really nailed the idea of how to make it not so safe and boring to just fly around.
Just to have that same feeling as stumbling across a leviathan in Subnautica, or a Felreaver in World of Warcraft to remind you just how small you are just the 'mystery' factor of it all.
Maybe it could also just be a straight up huge 'cloud' dragon, to really nail that mysterious feeling? (Images found randomly on google and I cant seem to find the artists as the links take me to pinterest)
