As the title says, I suggest a text channel where players can introduce themselves. Maybe it should be split up in threats like #1067202526878896248. That would make things easier for people who want to both introduce themselves and join a clan looking for members i.e. in #1067194507453550623.

It'd look like this: I open a thread where I introduce myself and then save the link to my introduction somewhere on my device. If I decided to ask a specific clan to invite me I could simply send them the link via copy and paste instead of manually repeating my introduction.

Technically it's like a letter of application then. When I was looking for a job I simply copied my letter of application and changed a few details manually. It saves a lot of time.

Clans could benefit from it as well since they can just check a player's introduction. Thus they already have some information about the player. For example, in my introduction I'd definitely mention my Asperger's Syndrome and describe how it influences me, what I need because of it and what positive aspects it has. The chieftain or thunderchief checking my application has at least some important information and can ask specific questions or something like that.

The alternative would be that people have a higher risk to be invited into clans that don't suit them. With such a feature people can be prepared for you and can support you much better. The result would be an easier inclusion of people in clans. And for clanless people looking for a clan it might make finding the right clan easier, too.

I'm okay with this if it's not required, I don't want to share personal information.
