Taking A lev after my local curiculumn

Hi, I am from Bangladesh.
This maybe embarrasing but iw anted to do IGCSE before by self studying haha. I did reach a point though. But I had change of plans and continued with my local curriculum and today my baord exam ended which is eq. to IGCSE.

I have decided to do A levels now. I will get admitted to an approved school here.

I focus on getting 3A* and get into good engineering universities in usa or germany with scholarship.

I just need advice and pros and cons.
I plan on taking PCM (FM, CS I might as someone adviced)
I need some reality checks and how much i should study by myself. I am aware A level is about good understanding.

dont take cs if your already taking physics chemistry maths

there is not rlly any cons

u can study engineering in any country

The one i will go in hasn't had any A level students yet. But they have become the first exam centre in our district a few days ago and ig im gonna be the first batch.

some people cruise through a levels some people try their hardest and get Cs

hii jumping in, but ami bangladeshi akta school e geychelam where amar batch was the first o levels and teachers ra onek underprepared chelo, barely school e ashto and rlly bad coordination overall, they didn't even know how to administer students for the exam

if ur distrct has schools which alr did do a levels, pls go there

mind u the school i went to was shittly expensive yet the teachers did not know abt the curricullum, the teachers thesmelves would skip school

i also didn't ahve many classmates to help me study bc it was a new school

but granted, if there's no other schools in ur distrct doing a levels, then u rlly need to self study a lot

Ah yah i did procastrinate a lot with my ssc mainly because my school isnt strict and i do need a push to study but yeah i changed a lot. But yeah with proper discipline i can do it.

still doing o levels, but finished AS math coaching and the syllabus content wasn't like horribly difficult

procrastination is my downfall 😭 yah u need to be relly motivated during a levels to get a stars

cause AS math is light its barely a step up from GCSE only A2 is hard

there were some subjects i'm just generally weak at which was and is difficult like trignometry but not like impossible hard
