#Are 5 A-levels worth it?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
not really for UK
they only look at 3 a levels
eg
for engineering
they look at math, further math and physics
Further math isn't offered in my country... (Its not easy to enroll in it)
Even for scholorships???
Yea
can you self study it? ik it will be super hard but for engineering in uk, fmath is a great help
Where did they mention they want to go to uk
I can try but most people who tried to self study FM ended up retaking and wasting tons of money and time and thats why I dont want to choose it
you can find tutors or smth, but believe me when i say fmath is so worth it
Im cool with Germany, Canada or UK
time to learn german
NOPEE IM TAKING AN ENGLISH COURSE AND FUCK GERMAN
🫠
Ill have to learn it either way tho😔
😰 gutenmorgen
actually there are a lott
rhien waal, TUM and others
Yea idk anything in germany
Ill try to find, but i still have to take the ol FM first
u dont need 5
4 is prefered for top uk unis only for engineering and other similar stuff
and in this case the extra subject is further maths
Oh okk
Thank you guys❤️
np!

There's absolutely no point in doing 5 a levels😭
3 a levels is fine and I would only say to do four if your gonna do FM
UK unis never look at your fourth unless its further maths
this is literally false for the UK many unis outline a 3 a level offer and 4 a level offer for students doing further maths. for engineering courses
sometimes unis do make offers made based on 3 for certain courses
but many do take into account the 4th asw
So what should the 4th subject be:
Math, Physics, FM, ______?
for engineering?
chemistry computer science and DT are all good 4th subs
excellent choice
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY
your welcome

some do for 3 as well
its better to check individual uni requirements
