nah nah man ik the questions kinda mixed but what imasking is that
Is the traditional job market (especially professional/office jobs) declining because more young people are choosing trades, freelancing, or alternative careers instead

no it isn't
idk i read a article on it and yt videos on ppl discussing how job market is kinda fluctuating way more nowadays
top companies have no issue recruiting talent
if anything the problem is theres more people qualified for professional/office jobs
than there is office jobs
but nowdays companies give more attention to your skillset rather than the degree itself especially in Tech one of my relatives is a example of that and so many teachers
is this true too?
this isn't true tech giants like google meta etc have target universities
of course skills matter
but if u go to a terrible uni its irrelavant your not getting a good job
theres too many people and not enough jobs, so ive seen people start their own businesses to sustain themselves.
going to a good uni is the entry standard to even apply
skills are what actually get u the job
bro one of my homies hes like a tad bit older than me didnt go uni and just did so many internships projects and has connections and hes in one of the tech giants
which one and what country
in europe or south america uni def matters
they absolutely have target unis
i saw a study where a vast majority of business graduates from harvard are not being recruited as opposed to previous years
so you are right skills matter a lot they get u the job but these companies legit have hard filters of what unis they hire from
so if you're a graduate from a mid university without any experience or skillset you might aswell call it a day
link?
so lets say someone applies to a huge firm who graduated in uni somwehre in a small city or town?
would he get hired?
no
im pretty sure no right?
yeah
they have hard filters on what unis they recruit from
like u could be the best candidate but if u go to a shit uni
your cv gets autofiltered
before a human even reads it
this is false
top 200 ? does it suffice?
yes top 200 globally is great
right
does it matter where u based from? does that matter too?
i think theres an exception tho? my uncle graduated from a mid university but was hired by an american firm almost right after graduation, the only thing that helped him was his experience and skillset that he built before graduating
which firm
im talking about giant companies like google amazon JPMorgan etc
wdym like country?
yeah
yes bc then they have to try like get u a work visa to go abroad
unless your exceptionally talented
why would they not js pick a domestic graduate
for them to sponsor a work visa u have to rlly stand out
no idea, but it wasnt a giant company
https://www.hbs.edu/recruiting/employment-data/Pages/default.aspx proof this is false
bros gotta be einsteins just to be drafted into harvard lol
or somethin like top swiss unis
lol
yea i said giant companies
real
dude chatgpt almost struggles with my maths hw already and we talking about neuralink
chatgpt has got a lot better tbh
claude is better though
nah it still kinda suck buns
need 2 3 more years
pro/max models are being to run whole buisnesses
btw what is ur take on just doing 2 a levels
and develop things humans take ages to
bad idea
beacuse the risk is grades right? if u get lower in one or two theres a reason third subject is taken
right?
no
unis require 3 a levels
very few reuqire two right?
idk any that let u in with 2
if there are
they're probs some of the worst globally
hm right
and what is ur take on just completing AS level i mean yes unis will stil put u in foundation but what do u think
idk
in the UK u need full A levels for foundation at a good uni
probs the same with some of europe and america
but ik some let u do with just AS
realistically not doing A levels or an equivalent
isn't a good decision
wdym we dont have to go dms
this is what threads are for
ight then im kinda aiming for two countries mostly france or either new zealand if neither works out then ill prolly go south africa or stay in the same country
u got any advice
idk much about any of those tbh
France is rlly competitive though
damn
i mean they have some of the best unis in the world
i have advice
he's gonna say some bs
no i won't
he will
i wont
ts guy is in every thread
what!
with verbal diarrhea
ill just make seprate thread yeah
alr your welcome
