Hi all, I am a Y13 student. I took Computer science, ESL (English Second Language), and all three sciences (Physics, Bio, Chem) during IGCSE.
During AS, I took psychology, computer science and physics.
I still study those subjects (more or less, since complications arose with my physics exam, so I'm still yet to give my AS physics finals, but I'm in UAE, which means we're following the evidence portfolio procedure + having online mock examinations as one of the evidences).
I've studied AS physics for about a year now and still can't get a single past paper completed without getting stuck and confused. I'm starting to get even more scared about my future than I was previously. I wanted (and still want) to be a game developer, but I can't even do well on my computer science practical tests/exams. I know arithmetic-based subjects aren't for everybody, and they certainly aren't for me.
I'm just so unsure of what to do. I feel as if It'll take a miracle for me to even graduate. I still want to make games, but I don't know how to go about university, if it's even worth it, or whatever. I'm starting to believe I might have messed up my future from the very beginning, because I don't know what I'm supposed to do with these subjects at this point. Perhaps if I had taken different subjects, I might be able to excel.. But that's already in the past. I want to study in Canada, but I have no idea how to go about it. I've been told Canada's universities have really high standards, and with my grades I'm not sure if I can even get there. So, I'm putting this out here. Is there ANYTHING I can do, either with these subjects, or about universities, or are there any other routes I can take?
