There are some engineering careers related to the environment
Do some research, there are many
sure but im not considering to be part of the engineering side but do u have any other suggestions
There are environmental management jobs, education field like teacher/professor or environmental conservation officer roles
If you also have chemistry, you can look into the medicine industry as well, pharmacy and microbiology
Biochemistry is a vast field
ok tysm
and again im mainly looking into careers with bio as its core sub
chem and physics would do fine
as well
Engineering roles are pretty good when it comes to bio as a core sub
If you want a more diverse role, adding a physics/chem would be helpful
Np
Gave +1 Rep to @broken dune (10)
Ask chatgpt for suggestions
maybe pharma? microbio?
chemical engineering
TY @fervent sparrow @delicate sigil
Yea there r many research fields in bio
Medicine is confined to the human body but if ur fine with that then it’s good for u
Genetic engineering
Then there’s also the conservation side
oooh tyssmmmm @livid lake
Look it's not my place to tell you or advise you
But
My entire family is full of doctors
The field is dying soon
It's not the right one
In my opinion
At least
Do what you want to do at the end that matters the most right ?
You should go towards genetic engineering
That seems to be the most interesting and alive field in my opinion
Genetic engineering is advancing yes but why would the medical field die
We don't need doctors anymore or what
TYYY it was really helpful
ngl i thought med was the only one career which was not dying
Yea in comparison to others it’s the one that’s most safe
But be ready to study atleast 8 yrs bfr getting a good job
Bc after mbbs u won’t directly get into one
And yea in major cities there is a very high concentration of doctors so getting high paying jobs can still be tough
Yeass genetic engineering is def cool and advancing but it’s kinda niche rn
I'll tell you what with the amount of people who are already trying to become doctors we would have more than enough supply of doctors
So you have crazy completion
And the payscale differences are crazy
It's not gonna die but most of the work rn is being done by machinery so the need for technicians or more doctors in fact has reduced significantly
Valid point
And also have you seen?
Consultants too are using technology
To diagnose
So there too
Surgery is an option if you're absolutely hellbent on becoming a doctor but it's not worth it
My parents gave me total freedom in my subject choices or career choices
Only thing they told me
NO DOCTOR
Okay I yapped enough
But you still need consultants for that. Technology isn't getting THAT advanced anytime soon that there'll be automated diagnostics
With the world population rapidly increasing, I dont really think so. There are hundreds of hospitals without qualified doctors
Yes it is my dad is one,
Look at the numbers in india alone tho where lakhs of students are attempting neet
Attempting yes. But not everyone is selected and/or complete the studies successfully
South Asian countries produce a lot of doctors yes. But still the hospitals remain empty
nah bro it was really helpful atleast ik something now after u said that
Have you seen the acceptance rate ?
It's become wayy easier now bcuz the number of colleges increased like crazy in India
Good for them then
One thing my dad says is that a lot of foreign countries have a deficiency of doctors. So it’s way easier to find a job anywhere in the world as a doctor compared to most other professions
True
