I am a candidate aiming to take may/june 2026 session of edexcel IAL physics, 9618 computer science AS level, and other subjects. Upon registering, i noticed that there is a clash between edexcel and CAIE board as following:

9618 at 13/05/2026 -PM and WPH12 13/05/2026- PM
and
9618 8/05/2026 -PM and WMA11 at 08/05/2026- AM and WPH11 at 08/05/2026- PM

As this would be physically impossible to take these exams within the same time, and conditions require me to complete AS and A level during 2026;...

CAIE physics requires lab practical as a must at my centre, but they dont have a qualified lab so i must take edexcel. To make it worse, edexcel IAL doesnt offer CS as a subject for 2026...

I think the best thing you can do is contact the centre you're taking the exam at or try contacting cambridge themselves
