How I wish I was a genius who solved maths like snapping fingers. The problem started with maths. I'm not very good at it and I got C in the Mathematics D syllabus (4024). I am interested in applying to Canadian universities and the one which replied to me (so far) said that they don't accept Maths D and accept IGCSE Mathematics (0580). Thus I don't fulfill the general admission requirements for the BBA program.

I had subjects like Business and Economics which are considered 'Group C' subjects. The uni is saying I need a 'group A' subject which includes all three science subjects, additional mathematics, history, geography, global perspectives, etc.

I was a science student previously but I dropped sciences to take bus and econ and it feels like a mistake bc it seems like everyone only cares about maths, English and sciences.

Like how are subjects like history and geography considered 'group A' and business and economics are considered 'group C' ??? Hello??

so you took up math D, business and econ?

since the canadian universities don't accept maths D i'd advise you to take up 1 or 2 sciences and add maths or further maths for IGCSE again

im not sure if there's much u can do since i'm also a bit inexperienced with this kind of stuff but im gunna try my best to offer you advice

in my opinion the best thing u can do rn is take add maths or further maths along with another science subject (optional) to reinforce your portfolio

i think this will better your chances of you getting accepted into the unis

i suggest u research a bit more about the unis you're applying to and read their requirements so you know what to do moving forward

you could take up extracurriculars as well to be more competitive in the pool of applicants
