I feel completely lost

I'm 18, all my friends and almost everyone in my school have decided what to study and most decided where as well but I didn't yet, and I'm not sure what I want to study as well, I had 8 subjects in IGCSE Mathematics, Bio,Chem,Physics,ICT,Arabic,English,French ALL are As except French B and In AS I messed up 3 Cs and 1 D I dropped bio which was the D, Pure Maths, Arabic and Chem were the Cs. Even tho it looks like I'm leaning into medicine with the chem bio but I don't feel like it, my marks even in school rn are not that good, it's so overwhelming and I have no idea of anything and everyone around me is pressuring me when I'm so lost

That does sound really overwhelming. I think what you really need to do is figure out what you want to do in life. Maybe do a bit of soul-searching

That's what I'm trying to do but I'm lost in the matter of, "Would I regret this?" "What if it doesn't work out" "This sounds good but I'm not so sure about it" it feels like I've got so much weight on my shoulders on this 1 decision

ok think about your favourite subject it doesnt have to be your best subject but choose the one you enjoy the most and then ask yourself why you enjoy the subject like what aspect of it do you enjoy dont give yourself a stupid answer like "because im good at it" think of something else

On the top of my head rn maybe drawing or football, but maybe that'll need some deeper thinking.

cuz that can help you realise what you actuall want to do and more time for applications and stuff like that

and also more time to do extracurricular

i agree. focus this year on ur studies. reduce ur workload. if there isnt a favorite maybe theres smtg u feel like "sheesh mann not this again..." drop that stuff. its academics rn. take a gap year to sort out everything else

U r leaning towards science which is gud cuz after ur boards, u have the option to go to any stream- commerce, arts, or science.

Mhm yeah ig so, but still a gap year I don't think my parents would even let me have that anyway, and I already dropped what I dislike most which is bio, I only take 3 subjects now maths arabic and chem and chem is very annoying as well

talk about it to them then and dont just say oh yeah i want to take a gap year. Actually list out why you want to do it and what your concern is and ask for their opinions if you want you can ask opinions from your teachers and friends as well
