Should I take Software Engineering or MBBS?

Following is my result from last IGCSE exam:
ESL B with Grade 2 (76)
Foreign Chinese A* (99)
Foreign Malay A* (97)
Mathematics (W/ Coursework) A (84)
Chem B (79)
Bio B (72)
Physics A (87)
Computer Science A (87)

I know my biology may not look good, but I have an interest to be a doctor, although not sure about specialist. But I also like computer science and I self learn programming last time. My parents suggested me to not waste the talent and go Software Engineering..

try both bio and comp sci in as and see which one u like or not

plus u like both subs, ur not sure abt taking bio plus ur parents want u to go the computers way, so think abt it

I'd say you're better off doing comp sci since you have talent on it, you could also go for med but honestly it's really tiring and make sure you do genuinely have passion for it and not join it because of pay.

I personally am pursuing for medicine and a lot of the time I see people saying they want to join medicine but ultimately they just want a job that pays

But I'd say the smart option is to go for MBBS and learn software engineering by the side (coding etc)

This is so that if you enjoy MBBS then good for you, but if you don't you could always change

A really good saying I've heard is that sometimes careers vary and it will vary around 4 times for the average person.

It's totally ok that you feel lost, in fact it's more normal for you to feel lost and unset because you haven't experienced much in that specific field. Many people claim they have "passion" for a certain career without actually trying things out or experiencing the career completely.

I honestly think biotech would be the perfect choice for you

You’ll be fully using comp sci in your research, while interacting with biological components

I'd say comp sci is more about coding and engineering so maybe not fully since it also heavily involves a lot of statistics in maths
