Hey, if i write some good research papers and get them published or publish them in my own website, can they increase my chances of getting into a good uni. Currently, im doing o level and have started studying nuclear physics as i wanna do this in uni. If i write a very good research paper about this, will it help me in future

btw many people say that if i dont participate in sports and debates i have no chance of getting into IVYs is this true

examples include:

1)uses magnets and is sick

2)has leds in it (fuck yeah rgb)

3. has bearings in it

4. is connected to a sensor or other engineering knick knack (search github for software)

5. has a cool gear system
