how many subjects are u taking
and is the 3 weeks holiday or do u have school during the time
currently im stuck in the same boat as u
i have 10 subjects but im really confident in english language, maths, add maths, malay so thats already 4 subjects taken off
im fairly confident with english literature and business
im not as confident with bio chem physics so thats pretty much just it for me
I'd say it's very important to study hard for your mocks
This is for several reasons, being:
- you get a high predicted, so if anything happens during your exams, it's not a big deal if you miss an exam
- you have to study less for your real exams. Because you are studying so early for your real exams, the knowledge which you forgot gets consolidated
But 3 weeks before is okay, just start to study hard
holiday
i mean for chemistry i would say i’m prepared bcs our teacher gave us ten million mock mock exams
ok so ur gonna set it out like this have 2 weeks for memorising ur stuff and 1 week for doing past practice papers
in those 2 weeks u have 14 days
it also depends on what u want for ur marks and how good u are at recalling
or how good u are at studying
oh btw i have one more week before the mocks but it’s a school week
if u can control urself
and u wanna get really high grades
be sure to practice everything because memorising is not gonna give u an a*
understanding exam material is
yes yes understanding is my top priority but i’m very scared about memorising
split ur day up into 3-4 study sessions ur preference
especially business
split it up into 1hr 30 mins 2hr per study session
u have to sleep at least 8 hours
minimum 8
1hr 30 mins is more effective
and when ur remembering take small gaps where u stop and test urself if u really remember or understand the material - its called the gap effect search it up
business is mainly common sense u just have to aim for the keywords
in my school the teachers dont use ur mocks as ur predicted
they also weigh in ur class contributions how well uve done throught the year and your overall ability that uve shown to the teacher
lets say u get a high a in the exam the teacher knows ur an a* student who is consistent they might give u the a*
