What are some good extracurriculars for getting into ivy leagues. Rn im doing MUN but dont have a leadership role and I am also part of an NGO. is creating a game counted as a good extracurricular. Also tell me some more things i can do aside from sports

I know dudes who had whole companies and charities that didn't make it to ivy leagues so you have to do something big big

The only person I know who made it was a nation team player

ok so i go to a 'funnel' school in asia so perhaps giving a brief overview of successful students' profiles would help

we sent three peeps to princeton last year. two of them were international debate champions and the other one suffered from a condition called ichthyosis and alot* of her ECs were dermatological research/startups/empowerment groups related to her skin condition

you either need to be cracked (intl debate champion) or have a compelling narrative (e.g being driven to empower others with your medical condition)

MUN and being part of an NGO might not be enough. you need to show leadership and personal initiative and basically do something that no one else in your school does

you could attend some free webinars given by institutions to gain more insight on ivy league worthy extracurriculars

also basically i was thinking of developing a game and doing other stuff like video editing graphic designing and some more IT stuff

considering i wanna major in cs, will these be counted as good extracurriculars especially if i am able to do freelancing?
