my attention span sucked btw!! Like I actually couldn't focus for more than a few minutes.. I would have to get up and walk around or start scrolling. Start by increasing ur time by 5 minutes. Study 10 minutes then take a 5 minute break. Then do it with 15/20/25/30/35 and then try 45-50 minute with a 10-15 minute break

Trying using those study with me videos on yt (find one with the same timings) don't keep looking at the time just have an alarm/listen to the one in the vid for ur break

But one thing I think can definitely have a big impact is ur health. Alot of people (especially those with good health) just don't realize how much bad health really impacts you.
Sleep on time, eat healthy, drink lots of water. If u have deficiencies please take supplements ESPECIALLY iron/magnesium/Vitamin D/Zinc/and B complex
U will genuinely start to see ur studies improve when he health is better. Of course this won't happen immediately it'll take a while for these effects to take place but please take care of yourself. It's so worth it and you'll feel happier and more productive I promise

Lowkey, this was really me before my mocks, i was failing physics, i had a U projected, i really despised my physics teacher, but i really wanted to show him that i could get a passing grade, so from march to june i really focused up on physics, i managed to get a C, not what i was hoping for but i tried my best and at least got a passing grade

If you have some sort of illness, then let us know. Because truthfully, Igcses aren’t as hard as a levels are.
I also didn’t study to my igcses and got trash results but now I’m trying in my a-levels and it’s getting so much better for me. I went from a D in igcse maths to a B in as level. Don’t quit and learn how to study properly.

Access to equipment is much more widespread in the U.S. In high school, I was able to use micropipettes and had hands-on experience with tools like PCR machines. However, many colleges and schools in Asia struggle to reach that same level of access. For instance, I don’t believe that mouth-pipetting is hygienic or safe, but it’s still a common practice in many places in Asia.

i havent taken igcses yet but my method is trying to understand and visualize by watching videos, i also try to think of real world examples (works for ecology and genetics)
then i go through my teachers notes... if you dont have one, you can just go through the notes available online or in this server
and then after that it's nonstop pastpapers ... i try atleast 5 years. make sure to note the language used in questions and check the mark scheme so you know the best points to mention

BUT the most important part is splitting up the workload. try studying related chapters together
for example variation, genetics and genetic modification can all be done together.. you can do all of ecology at once, and try plant and animal reproduction together too

but obv don't do it in a random order
start with classification, cells and cell transport as theyre the first chapters in the syllabus and therefore the easiest
basically just go along with the syllabus 😭
