taking bus/acc without doing it in igcses

How are business and accounts in AS if i didn’t do either in igcses? I did economics though.
what are the differences and similarities to econ? is it harder/easier?
If i were to opt for one (business or acc) which one should i do?

accounting in AS is very similar to igcse accounting

so in a sense, you'd be learning from scratch however that makes it much much harder
