IB subject overview

Ok so i am going to IB my school is gonna start soon these are my subjects
Eng lang and lit SL (mandatory in school)
Phy HL
Chem HL
Math AAHL
Spanish BSL
Eco SL
My main career and subject is physics, are these subjects a good choice? and how tough will it be?

I mean for Math AA HL just get a jump on it as soon as possible

It's not too bad when you learn it but schools/teachers often suck at teaching it for some reason

dont do chem hl. i suggest eco hl as 2 hl sciences and aa hl will practically kill u

The worst HL is a HL in something you hate

yeah no i got an a* in igcse physics, but ibdp physicsl hl is the worst thing to ever happen to me because its just simply on another level, so even if you love love physics,s doing 3 tough ass hls will be extremely challnging and ull end up loosing marks

well doing SL isn't actually that much easier
they've made SL a bit easier with the subject update but still you have to go through mechanics and waves and everything

the momentum you get from studying SL makes the HL parts more straightforward

really don't be scared of those subjects

just learn how to better manage your time in IB so that you can stay on top of all that new material

and the academics i.e exams and unit tests aren't the hardest part about IB

it's all the coursework, IAs, TOK exhibition and essay, EE

I have a feeling you may actually find your SL subjects harder than your HL ones

that's very common

especially in doing coursework cause it's normal to have no freaking idea how to start

and when your school organisation is shit, like deadlines are too close together, teachers are unforgiving with internals deadlines it makes the chaos 10000x worse
