I am right now taking 10 subjects but thinking of answering only 8. But I don't feel enough(I won't get the ICE award anymore). On the other hand, I don't want to get a grade lower than A in my Mandarin Chinese. I started learning Mandarin a year ago and I don't have enough confidence to sit for that in May/June 2025. I am pretty sure of taking CS or Robotics as my major. Thanks a lot.

having 1 foreign language is usually kinda expected
seems like I have to squeeze more time for Mandarin. I have to put that as my 3rd language in my profiles
You already have 2 languages?
I only have one for my IGCSE, ESL.
yess. IGCSE don't offer my mother language
Burmese(not very common)
CSL listening was kinda so fast , I couldn't even catch up. Even HSK was kind of easier.
CSL 😭 istg one time they said 热带植物园 and I wrote 热带森林
cooked
at least you got the 热带 correct 🙌🏻

also uh
i heard like
bc myanmar is removing some subjects from subject choice list so
i saw the 2024 oct nov list and
mandarin is no longer available
so u should check up abt that
😭
im not sure how true this is but i even heard that even esl speaking component might be removed next yr? probably js a rumour bc idt thats true
so unless ur attending at a sch which is also a test centre, languages may no longer be available next yr for private candidates
yess I have heard it from my coordinator
haven't actually heard about that tho
ahh I am not a private candidate, I will sit at my school(a test center )
Thanks a lot @small lotus
