into bio at all?
if so, then that's easy (biochem, medicine, etc.)
if more into physical manifestation, then perhaps materials science?
my dad went into materials science/chem eng and had a fruitful career in pulp and paper
chemical engineering leans even further in that direction but it's hopefully still on the table
pure chemistry is always completely okay
truth be told my dad originally was pure chemistry
but he branched out into chem eng in his career during/AFTER getting his phd
he got a job in pulp and paper cos that's what his phd thesis was about
so tl;dr: do whatever the fuck, man
i dont wanna do medicine
