My college authorities told me to take economics as a subject in A levels(edexcel) as later in life when I am in administrative position of my respective engineering firm like CEO or smh I will need it I might not realize it now but I will understand them later. They told to take economics instead of further maths without further maths I would still be able to land my undergrad in top 100 with good ECA and Standardized test score. Now the question is without A level economics will I not be allowed by engineering companies for leadership positions? For example in computer science for networking we have multiple extracurricular certification like CCNA CISCO which can be used as an alternative to CS a levels atleast to some extent is there such alternative for A level eco I really wanna take further maths man I am aiming for top 20 uni + I also do not want close my opportunity of being in a administrative position in a firm
