My option blocks are:
Block 1:
Further Maths
Maths
Chinese
Environmental Sci
Block 2:
Econ
Business studies
Art
IT
Chemistry
Block 3:
English General Paper
English lit
Further maths
Biology
Block 4:
Physics
GP
History
In the case of block 1 & 3, if I choose further maths in either block, I have to do further maths for the other block. For example, I can’t do biology in block 3 if I choose further maths in block 1.
I’ve decided on taking Physics and Chemistry for blocks 2 & 4.
I was wondering whether I should take further maths and grind my ass off to get a decent grade or settle for normal maths + biology. I heard further maths is helpful in uni admissions and in your studying for engineering in the uni.
I didn’t take add. maths in IGCSE either so I’m wondering if the leap will be too crazy. Some of the 6th form students at my school said it was abominable while others were like, it’s okay.
