#aqa vs cambridge
40 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
there's no pro and con to either board
i think you're aware of edexcel having only atp and cambridge having actual practicals
syllabus is almost identical
do you have to do the practicals in lab or something or can you do a paper like paper 6 in Olevel?
in cambridge i mean
you must do practicals in lab
there's no sort of p6 in caie a level sciences
oh wow ok thanks
what about aqa tho?
yw !

i know nothing about aqa because there's barely anyone who takes it outside of the UK
I think edexcel has practical but it’s not graded together
practical endorsement or smtn
but my school does GCE AL for science
Honestly edexcel IAL is quite liked by students
As you don’t need to do all exams in one go
and you can resit individual exams
I don’t think caie/aqa has that
ah alright thanks

ah well my teacher said edexcel science is a little basic and straightforward compared to cie
that is igcse, not ial
I will try to help you decide which exam board to choose for your IGCSE & A-levels
I will compare between Cambridge and Edexcel in terms of their easiness, type of questions and other advantages for the 2023 exams
Check my website If you need resources (lectures, solved past papers and notes) for Cambridge or Edexcel

watch this video it will make more sense
u r saying that u r taking the 3 sceinces as ur a level, if u r majouring in a science feild like medcine doing caie will be better beacuse u will be able to practice the parctical part which will definitely benift u over other boards
idk abt aqa sorry
but for the 3 sciences edexcel is definetely easier and more leaneat as the video says
and for math there is barely a difference
tbf edexcel has 3 sessions
doesnt aqa have more practicals and coursework?
oh alright, no problem

thank u so much @eternal hound @foggy ocean
If you could take IB, and got the energy for it.... That's preferable
yea i was going to do that but my teacher said igcse to ib might be a big shift and theres not really much point
