Does the subject i choose in igcse effect the subjects i can choose in a levels

yes of course

for most subjects in ALvls you are going to need the knowledge from igcse

you could technically do them without taking their igcse counterparts but it's just gonna make it harder for u

especially for maths, sciences, accounting, languages

obviously there are subjects that can be done without having studied it in igcse

you're not restricted to only taking the a level subjects that you studied in igcse

however quite a few subjects do require the igcse counterpart as i listed above
