if you're going anywhere in the medical field then you must take it. otherwise, you're not required to sit for it. it really depends on what you want to apply for in college. best of luck !!

then unfortunately chem and bio are a must 😔
as for additional subjects you should check the universities you're applying for, hopefully they only require 1 extra subject like maths
for example, some unis require two As and one A* for chem, bio, and any other subject. so even if you dont get an A* on chem, you should be fine w an A as long as bio and the other subject are A*s
