I've chosen Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Maths (with Prob and Stats) and Physics for my AS-Levels and I was wondering if doing my Biology, Chemistry and Physics AS-Levels in Feb/Mar-2024 and doing Maths and English in May/Jun-2024 would affect my chances of getting into a university. I want to study biotechnology and my dream university says that I should do 10+2 (Gr. 10-12) with 3 or more of the subjects listed. I have chosen 4 of the subjects on their list but I am worried that splitting them for AS-Levels would decrease my chances of getting in. What should I do?
#Will splitting my AS-Levels affect my chances of getting into Indian Universities?

why would splitting the subjects matter?
idk much about indian universities but it doesn't matter anywhere else
splitting your AS into different sessions shouldn't affect your chances of admission
the main focus are your results
From what I've been told, since splitting would produce 2 result sheets instead of one, universities would overlook your grades and think that you failed a series and had to re-write it.
Or that you weren't competent to write everything in one series.
that's really weird
I've never heard that before
I have heard a few people say this, (I'm from Pakistan) but most actual counsellors etc say that it doesn't really matter
Alright then.
Yeah, my teachers have said the same thing too but I wanted to confirm it with other people as well 'cuz my parents have been scaring me by saying the stuff I mentioned before.
yeah I get it, but as far as we've heard it doesn't really matter so good luck!
