Chem or CS for AS levels?

my plan has always been to pursue software engineering, and im still considering that but im not 100% sure. Im interested in other engineering subjects as well. so, for my AS subjects, along with maths and physics should i take chem or Comp science? i didnt take CS in IGCSE btw. tia

Look you can get into software without taking cs but you'll need chem if you go for other engineering

yep yep. chem seems like a safer option im just scared if its gonna be too difficult

i felt it was very easy in IGCSE but everyone says its a nightmare in A Levels

Nah bro believe me chem is way better than cs without prior knowledge

You don't need chemistry for most engineering subjects, doing it in igcse is enough
Doing computer science will open up more fields in tech if you are interested

Nah bro if you find it ez in ig then it's ez in alvl asw like i did combined sci and my chem was horrible and i didn do cs now i got cs and chem so tbh cs feels way more tougher than chem
