it will definitely be very stressful to rush a subject in 6 months
so, imo, preferably don't take it
you can focus on your existing subjects
Well , I doubt you have such zeal for accounting. If you do you could take for m/j 2023 and that's assuming your good at math and you like accounting otherwise don't take it
If you really want to do accounting and you have enough/can dedicate enough time, take it.
I'm writing 5 subjects now which I started studying 11 months ago
what about taking in oct nov session 9 months seems enough
Are you planning to take ib/alevels after IGCSE?
yes
taking as after it
When are you starting as?
Nvm
3 months break
ill strt as around septermper u can say so
Ok
So generally a-levels is overwhelming for a lot of students
You may want to focus on that
Are you interested in accounting in general, and familiar with the concepts?
well not familliar but interested
most my collegues recommend me accounting as they say my level in math will deem it easy
and it will also help in college applications i believe
Have you consulted a counsellor about this? Or any teacher?
not yet
You should do that first, if you're really serious in writing the exam
i will consult a teacher by the end of the week
👍
but i want to know general opinion of people as my teacher
What career are you looking to get into?
got some expectations on me alrdy set
havent really decided but its narrawed down into an engineer or a mathmatician or a statiscian
So something like finance?
yes
I see
but not a hundred percent sure yet bout it
just want to have more options opened than closed
For now, imo your best option is consulting a teacher or counsellor since they are experienced
kk
And remember soon next year (maybe even before your IGCSEs) you will need to choose your A-level subjects
You can always go directly into A-level accounting
If you have the interest
Seems a bit ambitious
