hi guys, for those who did not understand the new season very well.

1- the crystals i believe fall every 30 minutes (correct me if I'm wrong)

2- the crystals will fall into the realm that is happening the daily missions (in this case today the daily missions are in the golden wasteland so the crystals will fall somewhere on the map)

3- if you see a player losing WL, light his candle and honk for him.

4- if you use honk on red crabs this will only attract them so just try to dodge them or use this to your advantage to keep them away from the plants.

It’s Geyser O’Clock! Start making your way over to the Sanctuary Island! You can get there by flying through the gate on the right in the first space after the social area and continuing through the Bird’s Nest to get to the main islands (then fly down towards the beach), or you can take the wind paths to get there! It’s the second exit from the start (pass isles, then go in via sanctuary). Remember, don’t AFK and don’t sit in the water, it drains your light!

an overall explanation of the quests
||from what i've gathered you need to visit a shard event spot for the daily quest and everyday i'd imagine. here's #questions-and-help message the schedule of that.
to complete the first seasonal quest you'll need to find a larger and harder in difficulty shard spot (with shard crabs that will run at you if you deep honk, so i'd avoid doing that unless you're baiting them as a distraction). today's shard spot is in Ark, in the back if you're on iOS and front or elsewhere if you're on switch. your main goal for phase one of the shard event is to burn the plants without running to a red shard or getting attacked by crabs, as you'll lose wl.
after an adequate amount is burned there's phase two
phase two - you sit down at the lil shrine thing, and the next part is collecting little light creatures in a certain amount of time. collect them all and you're done! sit down at the shrine to finish and you'll be awarded up to 4ac for your efforts. AFTER all that you need to click the shard quest giver and visit today's memory||

Good news: It is absolutely 100% possible to clear a major eruption solo! It takes about 5-10 minutes and the help of two shared memories, probably more if you want to be safe. I did it as a player who's been here for less than a month ||and I'm fresh out of Eden with barely six wedges|| so it should be manageable for most people.

All you need to clear an eruption solo are about five wedges(I had six), two(as I had) or more shared memories of deep calls, and a fair amount of panache

I totally recommend hanging out in the beginning of realms like Prairie, Forest, or Valley before the shard events start! I bet there's all sorts of players hanging out ready to watch the eruption, I know I am one of those players

I am so fascinated by how magical the Eden mountain looks and seeing it erupt is just so breathtaking to me

• if you don't know, deep calling either from yourself or from a shared memory can distract the crabs
• you can stand on the plants to put yourself above their hitbox
• there's a period of time after they charge when they cannot charge again. take advantage of this
• you can actually damage boost off of them if you're brave enough. it's really funny and I recommend it for anyone who has agility or wl to spare

It’s Dinner Time! Start making your way over to the Sunny Clearing! You can get there by progressing through the main gates in Forest up until the Brook (the place with the river and mushrooms as soon as you enter) and you can turn right to go through the spirit gate, and I’m still trying to figure out the wind path and assembly routes
You can bring props to help burn the orbs quicker, but make sure you’ve placed them right! Also be aware that if you AFK you might miss some wax if it gets sent far away from the table! Enjoy your meal!

You can also collect shells around the trench in the water and follow behind the turtle to collect wax!

The hit box changes but I don’t know if it’s vertical enough to dodge the crabs. They’re very tall crabs.
Plus meditate is very slow in start up and leap falls too quickly

Depends on your financial situation. Can you comfortably afford to drop money on it? If so I’d say yes. The ults will never return, and you get extra seasonal candles that get converted to regular candles, as well as extra cosmetics without needing to wait for TS to return.

It’s Shard O’Clock! Start making your way over to the Forgotten Ark!
You can get there by the boat to the right in the first area after the storm, or you can take the wind paths in forest!
It’s the third exit from the start (pass isles and sanctuary, then go in via ark).
Remember, don’t honk, the crabs’ll attack! Only honk if you’re being bait! You can’t topple them either.
Be sure to bring a prop (preferably one that can recharge you, like bonfire or Juggler/Fire Prophet braziers, or use a spell to summon one!) But beware, the crabs can shatter them and they’ll be placed on a long cool-down!
Work with others to burn as many plants as you can, and avoid the red crystals! Good luck!

Hearts are great especially buying them off from spirits during early game, but for the candles, you do get about 19-20 a day, if you want cool cosmetics, I do suggest looking through the sky wiki first before spending! Spend wisely!

Okay after another test I have confirmed: you don't even need shared memories to run a shard solo. You also don't get more ascended candles even if you wait a few hours for a different eruption

Idea: Cosmetics from the shattering season makes your skid look like a corrupted dark child
Another idea: It doesn't change their personality so if your sky child is sweet and cuddly, you basically still have a corrupted but sweet and cuddly skid who loves their friends very much and still goes on adventures like normal.

There's this whole council of skykids aptly named the skykid council with 11 members. Seven of them are spiritually connected to the elder of their realm.
There's Kesed who is this really chill guy who oversees Isle who also likes to play around moths and likes to play a harp to them. He loves birds like a lot. He knows many bird facts and has a delivery post solely composed of them. He knows the names of all of those birds. Also he can play the harp for fun.
Also he canonically owns a rubber chicken from Folius, a former skykid council member who used to organize season and also happens to have a very neat space cutting and time stopping sword which allows him to create the illusion of instantly teleporting around.
There's also Malruth who oversees Prairie, very excitable, cheery and optimistic, and loves to take care of light creatures and even helps some of them recover from any injuries. She tries her best for everyone and wants people to smile for another day.
Also she compiles random stories of skykids into a currently 80-volume book series called Skytales.
There's also Kinah who oversees forest and is rather reserved. She is quiet and straight to the point. She also has pretty good judgement and a good eye for details. She's also more introverted than the others. Also Kinah is probably a tsundere who is secretly caring but does not want to admit it. Also she is very anime with dual wielding katanas for any dark creatures in the forest and also is highly immune to the rain. She's quite fast too for dragging out skykids from the rain. Also she keeps sending Kesed wooden bird figures she makes as warm up. While Kesed appreciates the figures as a bird lover, he is running out of space for them and wishes Kinah would stop sometime.
Netzak oversees Valley and is a pretty cool menace. He makes all the puns and makes the council die of embarrasment. He's quite prideful of his skills and likes to show-off.

Netzak oversees Valley and is a pretty cool menace. He makes all the puns and makes the council die of embarrasment. He's quite prideful of his skills and likes to show-off. He likes to showcase these talents in the colloseum every monday via very elaborate performances that have mantas, birds, his best friend, Hed (who is another skykid council member i'll get to later), and even the valley elders themselves via light clones. He does show a deep respect for talented skykids nowadays especially when judging races. Also he's impulsive and quite a big risk-taker. Also he's like really really fast and is the fastest skykid ever.

Gevrah oversees Wasteland and is a brotherly warrior at heart. He is the founder and leader of an organization known as the Sky Dark Hunters Guild, an organization that aims to help protect the sky kingdom from the darkness ever since it started to spread uncontrollably in the past. He is described as someone who enjoys the thrill of battle and is quite optimistic. He always tries to look up especially if the situation is bad. He respects those who have sacrificed themselves against the darkness to protect the light. He's also quite brotherly at heart and looks out for his dark hunters. Gevrah often treats his dark hunters like his little sibling and is very fond of them.
He also happens to be protective of his fellow skykid council members and dark hunters. Also he can get argumental and sacrificial about protecting the weak from danger. He doesn't want to see another skykid die unfairly from the darkness.
Oh and he has a close friend named Auriga who is very short yet formidable and is the co-founder of the Sky Dark Hunter Guild. He likes to tease her height a lot. Oh and he's the only one who actually enjoys Netzak's puns and terrible jokes.

Chokma is a reliable skykid who is cool-headed and is quite reliable. She is cunning, calculative, and a quick thinker.

Astreos, an ambitious young skykid with heterochromia eyes (bright yellow and grey) who wants to become a dark hunter. He also keeps getting strange flashbacks and dreams of a certain fallen ruler of the sky kingdom though. Also he happens to be siblings with the literal first skykid (technically second because reasons) and first dark skykid.
Aeri, a calm and cautious young skykid who is born with a half-dark core due to some accident with Astreos's birth. She wants to find some answers to the sky kingdom's past
Vulpi, a chaotic menace of a young skykid who's born with fox traits like a tail (that can store objects) and fox ears. She likes stealing (don't worry Aeri always returns those objects) and being an impulsive prankster. She's also quite understanding of others too.

i pretty much made up a heck ton of info on the king/resh/eden elder because he plays a rather huge role in my story especially regarding Astreos. And also because i want king lore tgc release him from the basement this instant please
||He's basically now a ball of sad and emotional instability due to everything he went through. His currently slumbering spirit currently contained in the eden diamond. He fully woke up once before thanks to another sky oc named Ketera, who soon got possessed by him. He wrecked havoc by making the darkness consume almost all the realms of sky. He only got put to sleep again after a very wild battle.
There's a spell put in place in Eden where all the ligh generated from skykids ascending into Orbit gets funneled into the spell and chains that keep him asleep for the sake of the sky kingdom. Also Ketera is now in charge of containing him and looking over skykids attempting to reach the peak||
