sometimes in high draft areas (like in prairie), the game will do that to you. from my knowledge, not really a reason for that. You can switch back to "open cape" mode tho and it's fine

Certain areas force you to use gliding mode instead of flapping, while flying upwards too far can stop your gliding and put you into flapping mode they tend to look and sound a bit windier like seth said

every 24 hours, the candle-making/wax collecting limit is reset and people can collect wax quickly to make candles. it's also when new dailies are released. think of it like a new day starting. just that the new day starts at the same time, but we're all in different time zones. so "reset" for people is at different times
