it will all come to you in time ^-^ especially flight tech, to be fair though a lot of the more obscure flight tech is useless in most cases, much like the vertical flight tech. Its good but realistically you can get up to the same height just circle flying

Pretty much, flight “tech” consists of using different aspects of flight movement or maneuvering to accomplish certain things, like being able to fly vertically by backflipping repeatedly

I mainly use flight tech on a controller, which is easier, and use it to gain speed for my candle runs

Theres also a different vertical tech to start off vertical instantly when launching off the ground, but it uses the leg step mechanic, and causes you to do a glitched slide, which enables a instant vertical if you do it correctly

If you don't do well enough in the practice test, then revise again to make sure you have a better chance during the exam. and if you do well in the practice test, then take that as a sign that you shouldn't worry too much! although you should still revise once more after that even then so you can be even more sure!

you're all good, getting beaned happens sometimes i will admit that people are right to call out that people shouldn't be excusing TGC as a small company anymore (they're certainly not, not in the same sense that they were during Journey's era and Sky's introduction). I also need people to understand net worth =/= cash available to spend (I would know, I'm on my last year of my accounting degree, net worth is more based on share value rather than cash at hand). Yes, they need to invest more in stable servers and more servers at that. Pease don't assume their net worth is indicitive of how much they've got to spend.

i will say it's undeniable that the bugs have been increasing this past year, and it is frustrating. it does make me wonder if it's a sign of overambition, a cut in staff or both. but to try and achieve absolutely no bugs per patch is pretty much impossible, just by the nature of things. there's no such thing as absolutely perfect code when it comes to game development, i believe. and that's especially the case with live service games that need constant updates.

majority of their staff team wouldn't be in this discord server, I feel. probably on discord for internal communication, but just not in the server. i imagine the staff that's actually within the server are the ones most equipped to deal with customer service/external communication

Fren, it’s an open world game, with divided subsections of servers within a global one, have u looked into how the code looks like? Imagine finding a bug there (yes one , in the wrong place can mess the whole thing up)? I advise u go get some soup to chill and come back later

and the problem with coding is that you cannot remove the problem code outright, because that tends to cause even more problems than the recode. but recoding often always breaks things. so it's a constant cycle of recoding, no matter what you do. perfect code probably does exist, but certainly not in live service games that still receive updates

i think literally the only way we'll ever see perfect code in the case of sky is when sky reaches its end of life.

Please keep in mind that this isn't an inherent problem of the sky servers even steam breaks when too many people get online! A spike in server traffic at the start of every season and event will break a game regardless of how developed it is a well-built door will still break if too many people shove through it!

It's been pointed out multiple times, but honestly. People should've expected server errors, or at least slow servers, on today in particular. The new season quest plus days of mischief, one of the most highly anticipated events every year, is a combination that's bound to equate to "good lord the strain is everywhere".

Doesn't change that server errors have been happening more recently. Doesn't change that they should probably find some way to invest in more servers. But with the current state of the servers, it should have been expected.
