Speaking of yall reminded me that a player yesterday during granny kept placing their cauldron prop on me when I would try to use the book emote and afk during granny while I finished some chores. I would come back and it would be there, even if I moved and tried to continue chores. Right when they left they did the emote and then disappeared, so I’m assuming they were upset cause I was afking? Which is understandable if there wasn’t already like four other players helping with the buns….

I've played for about a year and a half now. Have 11 wings waiting on more traveling spirits so I can reach 12. Learned all the wl locations and finished all spirits across the realms. I can do 3/4 trials no sweat but I hate fire trial and cannot complete it solo so I refuse to ever go back there . I started December before the year of the dragon mask came out. I think my first official season was 9 colored deer

Yeah…I’ll admit that I’m not immune to that criticism either. I’ve gotten mean with people who were just looking for answers because I was low on patience, and forgot that not everyone has the same depth of knowledge that some more experienced folks in lorechat do. I still feel bad about it, looking back.

I feel like because lorechat is (or at least was, before 2 Embers turned it into genchat 2.0) a relatively small group of people who are ‘regulars’ compared to cozy or genchat, it’s really easy for us to fall into an echo chamber of sorts and forget that we’re not the be all end all deciders of lore. And this can lead to being patronizing to others and acting like our opinions are the only correct ones.

None of us have the objectively correct opinions on Sky’s lore, regardless of whether we’ve been playing for 5 years or 5 days. That’s the beauty of the ambiguity TGC has still maintained, even with major revelations like Season of Shattering, AURORA, and now both Two Embers the series and Season. We know more about the world of Sky than we ever have before, but there’s still plenty of ambiguity to allow everyone to form their own ideas and interpretations.

That’s why I’m trying my best to remember to be patient with lore moths, and do better than I did before in those times where I lost my patience. I was in their place once, so it’s my responsibility to be a good lore vet and help them out instead of being snooty.

Tips For The Movies

1. When you enter the theater, go to the lantern. The candle on the wall will take you to see The Two Embers outside of schedule. It plays non stop on repeat.
2. Turn down your “Sound Effects” if you are annoyed by the honks. The movie has its own separate audio.
3. The Eye Icon on the big screen in the lower right hand will not only zoom you in closer to the screen but turns all the ghosts into fireflies.
4. The statue at the very back of the movie theater also has a similar feature but pulls your camera out into a birds eye view of the whole place

Quick question. Usually on sundays I’ll do Eden a few times to help people that don’t like to go alone throughout the day.

And I was able to “save” more broken “sky kids” whenever I went back after full clearing Eden.

On the 4th run I went with 2 (already) friends and the entire back half of Eden’s sky kids were “unsaved” even though I’m 1000% sure I got them already.

In the vault , in the second floor the door the require 4 players to open .. we were 4 player ( oh good we can open the door easily and quick ) then we got that one player... We all the 3 players was standing to open the door .. then that on player used a shared space .. why ? Just why ? The other got frustrated and used shared spaces too and I got left alone (well I used in the end) but sometimes I wonder why some people do that ?

60-80 wl is good enough if you’re relatively new. If you really want to get every statue, two trips can be done though a bit tedious.

You can shorten the orbit trip by a bit by flying through the left window (has no hitbox) then fly up using the clouds if you want to.

When I used to be a newbie, solid 100 wl did massive help for me when heading to Eden, I of course didnt get all the statues, but it was enough to also battle against the winglight lost when hit by the rocks of the storm

Don't force yourself to go further it's not fun

I have a theory that the thing that powers all the stones is souls and the reason the shard exploded was because the souls were angry and because they weren't being allowed to get reborn and also how animals were being captured and krilled made it worse •3•

You can light eachother to keep alive and that is also why stones need to be lit to power up

That big beam of light coming off the spinning shard in the eye of eden is souls ascending

In addition to that sky kids are covered in crystal when they've fallen just like the ones in the eye of the eden and when the crystal is lit and they can ascend also we are gifted with ascending candles •3•

I imagine this crystal plague started when the giant shard started absorbing life and light from the people near it instead of giving light from the souls trapped inside
