I just discovered something!!!! So you know how if you enter the Aviary cafe and sit at the counter, Tiptoeing Teabrewer will bring you a pastry with pink icing that gives you wax? I decided to sit down at the outside bar section of the cafe, where the Spirits who offer you daily quests sit, and the bartender brought me a cup of hot chocolate like the ones at the little stalls around the village square during Feast. That’s so cuteeeeeeee

No, you have some in Golden Wasteland and the Archives in Vault, too, but it's much, much rarer there. Eden is probably your most reliable way of getting it. But you can get through the first section free from harm if you know the skip up the far wall, so even just that section will get you a touch of black dye if you want to stick to it.

You can get a finite number of hearts from spirits and seasonal questlines! They cost three hearts each, and I believe the seasonal questlines in Crescent Oasis, the furniture store, the concert hall, and... wherever Moomin is should be free, if I recall rightly from what people have said here.

Otherwise, you can light and get light from friends to get a fraction of a heart! And friends can send you hearts as gifts for three candles each, and vice-versa. One of our dailies today is to 'send a gift to a friend' - that's what that's for, so you might have a chance of getting one from a friend who wants to complete the daily.

I hate writing essays in general. You either write too little or too much and once you stop, there's no coming back to finishing it for the next one week
